A photo should tell a person's story- honest, unguarded moments that reflect who they truly are. Each image is a way of preserving memories, capturing emotion, and freezing a fleeting moment in time exactly as it is felt. The goal is authenticity: real connections, real expressions, and stories that can be remembered long after the moment has passed.
My love of photographing humans began with a photo of my baby sister in an empty pool using a Canon 35mm film camera. The way the golden light framed her toddler cheeks as she propped herself up in a dirty, empty pool at summer's end told the story of our feral playtimes out in the yard.
Since then, I have dedicated my craft to seeing the truth of humans. Real people, real emotions, real connection. Whether it be a family portrait, an actor's headshot, or a fun photograph with your best friends, I want to see you for who you are and capture that essence forever.
The outcome of an intentional experience is a story that is honest. A reflection of your humanity, preserved with care. They aren't just images. They are truthful seasons of your life.
Intentionality changes everything. It changes how you feel walking into a session. It changes how your children respond. It changes how you show up. Nothing here is rushed or accidental. We move with care, creating space for presence, honesty, and connection to unfold honestly.
Photography doesn't begin with a shutter. It begins with trust. I build connection first through conversation, collaboration, and emotional safety. Real presence can't be manufactured. It has to be felt first.
